You are the Poetry
If I am a poet, you are the poetry.
You are the silence between each letter,
The quiet from which every word is born,
And I am the patient hand that gathers them into verse.
You are the melodies that linger in empty rooms, And I am the auricles fit to perceive them.
If I am the page,
You are the ink that gives shape to the stillness.
Without you, every word remains a letter, begging for composition.
